Women of Note is happily anticipating our upcoming show entitled "Hit Parade - Through the Years" featuring chart topper music selections from a variety of eras.  We are also honored that our featured quartet for this show will be the acclaimed Boston Accent!  We hope you will join us!

Boston Accent just can’t seem to get enough of singing together, so they are members of Sweet Adelines International and Harmony, Incorporated – two international organizations of female barbershop singers. In November 2006, BA won the coveted gold medal at Harmony, Inc's International competition in Jacksonville Florida! For 6 of the last 7 years, they’ve won first place or been wild cards in the Sweet Adelines North Atlantic Regional competitions and competed internationally in Seattle, Denver, Honolulu, Baltimore and Las Vegas. Their CD, CROWNED AND DANGEROUS, has been hailed as a "vocal symphony with an ACCENT on fun and entertainment".

Cheryl Brusket, Lead, lives in Salem MA with her partner of 20 years and works as a self-employed massage therapist. She was named best soloist in the 2015 Harmony Sweepstakes competition, and has competed with the Sweet Adelines International medalist; Coastline Show Chorus. Cheryl also enjoys dancing in the studio, playing with power tools and being walked by her two pit bulls!

Karen Rourke, Bass, lives in Tewksbury MA, with husband, Dave. Check out her website:”www.singingsingles.net”. She does alcohol demos on weekends. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, biking, reading, swing dancing and playing with her pet rat, Maisy.

Julie Jeffery, Baritone, lives in Stoneham, MA, all by herself, and is a psychologist currently in the Lexington MA school system. She has previously worked in other public school systems north of Boston, as well as in educational and psychological research. Julie is a certified director in Sweet Adelines International.
