Women of Note achieves 2nd place at Area Chorus Contest

Women of Note is thrilled to have come in 2nd at our Area contest in Framingham, MA on April 13, 2024, in a field of 12 choruses, from all the New England states and the Province of Quebec, Canada.   Our rendition of Show Me Where the Good Times Are and Love Me and the World is Mine was very well received and earning our highest Area Contest scores since 1998.   We took home the Area 2 Achievement Award and qualifed for the International Chorus Contest in Louisville, Kentucky this November.

Marlborough Senior Center Valentine's Luncheon Performance

Women of Note quartets and small ensembles enjoyed performing at the Marlborough Senior Center Valentine's luncheon.  Quartets took time out from their Singing Valentines deliveries to come and deliver a 45-minute love song performance for luncheon attendees.  This program is supported in part by a grant from the Marlborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Women of Note Holiday Performance 2023 season has begun!

Women of Note began our 2023 Holiday Concert Series at Orchard Hill Assisted Living Community in Sudbury, MA yesterday. We had a wonderful time!  It's not too late to catch a performance - a small group of intrepid carolers will be performing at the Southwick's Zoo on Thursday, December 7th from 6-8:00 p.m.  The chorus is also performing at the Natick Morse Institute Library on Sunday, December 10th, at 3:00 p.m. - see the flyer under Featured Programs above for more information!

Women of Note bring 8 first timers to AC&C 2022

Women of Note is thrilled to have brought 8 first-timers to the Area 2 Convention and Contests April 21-24, 2022.  It was a fun-filled weekend and we were very successful at the Chorus Contest on Saturday.  We are so thrilled and happy to count these newcomers among our ranks!

We meet again!

We were so glad to gather IN PERSON this last Sunday.  We were capably led in our first in person rehearsal in over 14 months, by Nanda Landers and Maria Gabriella.  Ashley Lang shared highlights of our renewed repertoire, Dancing Queen!

It was wonderful to see 3-D versions of our friends and hope to see the rest of you in person at our next physical gathering on June 27th!
